As Associate Dean for the College of Arts and Humanities, Ms. Tubbs is responsible for a variety of tasks, most importantly serving as the primary point of contact on all student academic matters falling under the purview of the College.  Additional duties include overseeing the College curriculum review process, course scheduling, coordinating the facilities, e.g. office and lab space, of the College, representing the College at outreach activities, and more.

Ms. Tubbs joined the Dominguez Hills faculty in 1982.  She is a Professor of Dance, and has coordinated the Dance Program in the former Colleges of Arts and Sciences and Liberal Arts.  She has served in the capacity of Associate Dean since Fall 2005.

Prior to joining the CSUDH family, Ms. Tubbs danced professionally in musical theater, taught children’s theater for over fourteen years and taught dance at several community colleges.

Ms. Tubbs received her M.F.A. at the University of California Irvine in 1973 in Dance Performance and Choreography.
