Dr. Helen Oesterheld received her Ph.D. in English from UC Irvine. She specializes in Restoration and eighteenth-century British literature but enjoys teaching an array of courses including criticism, surveys of British literature, poetry, and prose fiction. Her research interests center on literature of sensibility, domestic and utopian fiction, the Gothic, all-female communities, and peer collaboration within the writing process.
