An entrance audition is required for admission into the Music Education and Performance options of the Music Major at California State University, Dominguez Hills. Students are asked to prepare selections in two contrasting styles that demonstrate both lyrical and technical accomplishment. The audition date for the 2010-11 school year is scheduled for Saturday, January 30, 2010 and March 27, 2010. At that time, students will also be considered for scholarship awards. If a student is unable to attend this audition date, they are asked to contact the Music Department in order to schedule an individual audition.

To be accepted as a music major, students must also apply and be accepted, for admission to the University. Information on this process will be available at the January 30th and March 27th audition dates.
